I was listening to Rover’s Morning Glory this morning (like I do every morning) and they were talking about walking on a treadmill. They are doing some sort of contest, and everytime someone gets an answer wrong, they have to turn up the treadmill (faster). I was thinking….I usually walk on the treadmill two times a week. I do this before I go into a cardio class, so I usually take it slow, walking uphill at around 3mph. They are saying on the radio that their treadmill goes up to 12mph! I can’t even imagine walking on a treadmill at 12mph. Actually, that would probably be a full sprint, but to me that sounds mighty dangerous!!

I am contemplating getting an attorney to do some work on a project of mine. I did some research and I realized that it would be WAY TOO expensive to hire an attorney. I wonder…does an attorney really work hard enough to get paid $100/$200+ an hour??? I mean, I sit here at work and work hard for 8 hours straight, but I am not making thousands and thousands of dollars! Is it because they went to school for so long and need to get compensated for it?? Or is it becuase their job is just really hard? I can’t imagine that they work harder than I do, yet they get paid so much more. I decided against hiring an attorney. After all, if they can follow directions, so can I.

Yesterday here in NY, it was I think around 60 degrees and sunny! On my lunch hour, I went outside and walked on the canal. I had a shirt on, with a light jacket and it was perfect. At first it was a bit chilly, but after walking I warmed right up. There is something about having the sun on your face, and the fresh air up your nose. It put me in a great mood. Especially since I got exercise as well, I was extremely happy. I think to myself, I wait a whole winter for days like this, why can’t it be this nice all the time? As much as I love summer here, I still do want to have better weather all year long. I think it will take about 1-2 years before I can make the move, but until then, I hope to enjoy the summers.
