Tax Season
It’s tax season and I have to admit it is one of my favorite times of the year. Mostly becuase I usually end up getting money back lol. This year I did my taxes online. I went to the site “TaxAct.com”. I did free filing for federal and state was only $13.95. That is the cheapest that I have ever seen! It took me about an hour to do online and they walk you through the entire return so theres literally no way to screw it up. I e-filed my returns so I didn’t have to mail anything and I am expecting my refund in a couple weeks! I am very excited as I have some bills to pay. One thing that irked me though…while I was starting my state return, the very first question was “What state do you live in?” and I typed in “NY” and it automatically calculated me owing state $6! All because I said I lived in NY! After that, it became clear- I must get out of NY.
