meanone

I have been sitting here for the last few days in a ‘funk’.  It is mid winter and I am really sick of the weather that we have been having here in NY. I’d say the average temperature has been 10 degrees and that is being nice.  I am the kind of person who is always cold. I am told that I have a ‘circulation’ problem, or low iron and that I should get that checked, well I did. I am fine. I am just cold. Honestly, it takes 90 degree weather for me to feel warm, but I can be comfortable in teh 80’s. 8 degrees however, is fucking freezing.

I sat here for the last few days and took a look at my life. The weather in NY sucks, my heat bill was $300 this month (and I live in a tiny place and my heat is on 60!!), my rent just went up, and my income went down. I am seeing this as a sign that maybe now is time to make a change. I would love to relocate to a warmer state. A state that doesn’t have as many taxes, and is easier to buy a house (NY is the highest taxed state).  There is one problem….my boyfriend doesn’t want to move. I really hate being in this predicament, as I want to be with him forever so I wouldn’t move away from him, but on the other hand I feel like, why can’t we move together?
