people- can they read or do they just not care?

So I work directly next to a Starbucks. The parking lot for my work is small and we only get two spots to park in. If we can’t park in our spots then we have to park across the street in the public parking. Obviously one of the spots is mine, and the other one is my bosses (the president). It works out all great except a lot of mornings people who are going into starbucks think its ok to park in our spots while they get their coffee. This morning I was waiting to turn into my parking lot and i saw a car pull into my spot. I saw the woman go into starbucks as well. I pulled in and waited for her to come back out, becuase she did leave her car on so I figured she’d be out in a minute. Besides the fact that it is cold out and I didn’t want to get in and out of my car over and over.  So i waited about 10 minutes. Now I am about to be late to work, so I parked (blocked her in) and went upstairs.  10 minutes later she was STILL not out yet?? Here’s my question- WHY would you leave your car on when you are going into starbucks for THAT LONG??? So I came downstairs after I saw her come out looking around to figure out ‘whose car is that?’ and she said “sorry she didn’t know”. Here’s my next question….can she not read? Right at my spot there is a sign that says “Liberty Employees Only”.  I am pretty sure she can read, or else she wouldn’t be able to order a tall nonfat latte from starbucks, so what is it then? Do these people just NOT CARE??
